Napoleon Dynamite Inspired Video

When i heard the summer boot-camp work would include making a video i was excited yet a little worried as i have not yet got the correct equipment. After speaking to a few other students taking the media corse and hearing all the different things they had done for this task i was a little confused as to what  the original task was, i decided to make my own decision and create a 'Napoleon Dynamite' inspired intro using the information form the thriller film 'Shutter Island'.

After getting all the equipment i needed i set up and filmed the different scenes i wanted, i must admit it took several attempts! However after a while i finished all the filming, i took the videos and edited them all together to come to a final intro:

I hope and believe that after being in the corse for a few weeks (maybe a module) i will be able to produce a video a lot more professional than this one. I am pleased with the way it has turned out considering i used a camera phone and my dining room table as a stage. Taking on media as a A level with provide me with a little more knowledge and the time i need to be able to produce excellent films and videos!

Overall producing this video was a fun experience and gave me a tiny insight of what Media Studies is all about.

  1. What a pity this won't play. Upload your video to youtube this will allow you to embed the file to your blog which will allow it to always be accessible.
Try and get this online before the end of the module
